Use this to quickly import .CSV files exported from any Microsoft Outlook product. It is important to note that these programs do not place all of your information in the .CSV files when you export to them. While these field names do not map perfectly into the eventogo Mailing List, we have included some of the necessary information only.
The preferred set of field names are those used by the eventogo Mailing List itself. If you are importing data from an unsupported platform via .CSV file, we recommend you edit the .CSV file in a program like Microsoft Excel and change the field names to match eventogo's field names exactly as shown below. Be sure to save your file as a .CSV file before importing it into eventogo's Mailing list.
| Field | Example |
| Name | Bill Clinton |
| E-mail Address | bill.clinton@whitehouse.gov |
You can copy a single contact entry or your entire address book from Microsoft Outlook Express to eventogoMailing List.
Copy your entire Microsoft Outlook Express address book and put it in eventogo Mailing List:
First, export information from Outlook Express:
Next, import this .CSV file into your eventogo mailing list:
Your eventogo mailing list can only import data that Outlook Express placed in the CSV file. Some of your data may be excluded if Outlook does not place it in the .CSV file.
