SaloneUfficio, International Workspace Exhibition, will return to the Milan Fairgrounds in Rho from 9th to 14th April 2013 together with 4 other leading exhibitions at worldwide level to make up an extraordinary business opportunity: Salone Internazionale del Mobile, International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Euroluce/International Lighting Exhibition and SaloneSatellite - globally known as I Saloni. SaloneUfficio is the international benchmark exhibition that showcases the very best products for the office sector, banks, insurance companies, post offices and communities, public spaces, along with home office solutions and work environments. It is strategically placed in pavilions with an extremely rational and user-friendly layout, entirely given over furniture and accessories for the workplace. SaloneUfficio is held on odd-numbered years in synergy with Euroluce / International Lighting Exhibition, given the great affinities between the worlds of work and lighting. A stimulating programme of parallel initiatives will as usual complete the commercial offer.

Cosmit – Comitato Organizzatore del Salone del Mobile Italiano – is the company that organizes Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile. Salone, as it's popularly known, was founded in 1961 thanks to the insight of a small group of furniture makers, who were the driving force of the trade association Federlegno-Arredo. A vehicle for promoting Italian furniture exports, Salone soon became the most keenly awaited event in the world of furniture.
Besides the Salone, Cosmit also organizes several other major trade shows such as the biennial events Euroluce/International Lighting Exhibition, EuroCucina/International Kitchen Furniture Exhibition, SaloneUfficio/International Biennial Workspace Exhibition, International Bathroom Exhibition and the annual International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition.
Along with these commercial events, starting from 1998, Cosmit organizes the SaloneSatellite, that has grown to represent a launching pad for young designers and a landmark event for all manufacturers looking for new talents.
