The International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition showcases the best the world of furnishing accessories has to offer in terms of typology – accessories, objects, ornaments and decorations, fabrics – and style – from classical to design to modern.
Launched in 1989 as part of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition is held annually.
The myriad proposals from the about 190 exhibitors will all bear the distinguishing hallmarks of quality and innovation that have earned Milan its place as the capital of furnishing.
The International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition runs concurrently with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, EuroCucina (International Kitchen Furniture Exhibition), the International Bathroom Exhibition and SaloneSatellite in the broader context of the Saloni 2012 at the Milan Fairgrounds in Rho.
The next show will be held from 17 to 22 April 2012.

Cosmit – Comitato Organizzatore del Salone del Mobile Italiano – is the company that organizes Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile. Salone, as it's popularly known, was founded in 1961 thanks to the insight of a small group of furniture makers, who were the driving force of the trade association Federlegno-Arredo. A vehicle for promoting Italian furniture exports, Salone soon became the most keenly awaited event in the world of furniture.
Besides the Salone, Cosmit also organizes several other major trade shows such as the biennial events Euroluce/International Lighting Exhibition, EuroCucina/International Kitchen Furniture Exhibition, SaloneUfficio/International Biennial Workspace Exhibition, International Bathroom Exhibition and the annual International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition.
Along with these commercial events, starting from 1998, Cosmit organizes the SaloneSatellite, that has grown to represent a launching pad for young designers and a landmark event for all manufacturers looking for new talents.
