Description
International benchmark of the lighting sector, with its exhaustive range of products, it has become the established point of reference for the design world, where technological and formal innovation come together. The 27th edition of the International Lighting Exhibition, commonly known as Euroluce, is an unmissable appointment. It showcases an all-encompassing range of top quality goods, involving innovative sectors such as street lighting, technical illumination, light sources, control systems and last generation devices. As well as being in complete synergy with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, now in its 52nd edition, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition and SaloneSatellite, Euroluce 2013 will also benefit from being held in tandem with SaloneUfficio, the International Biennial Workspace Exhibition. This will amplify the range of design and contract goods on offer, responding to the ever-increasing affinities that now exist between the worlds of work and lighting.

Cosmit – Comitato Organizzatore del Salone del Mobile Italiano – is the company that organizes Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile. Salone, as it's popularly known, was founded in 1961 thanks to the insight of a small group of furniture makers, who were the driving force of the trade association Federlegno-Arredo. A vehicle for promoting Italian furniture exports, Salone soon became the most keenly awaited event in the world of furniture.
Besides the Salone, Cosmit also organizes several other major trade shows such as the biennial events Euroluce/International Lighting Exhibition, EuroCucina/International Kitchen Furniture Exhibition, SaloneUfficio/International Biennial Workspace Exhibition, International Bathroom Exhibition and the annual International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition.
Along with these commercial events, starting from 1998, Cosmit organizes the SaloneSatellite, that has grown to represent a launching pad for young designers and a landmark event for all manufacturers looking for new talents.
