Be prepared to be wowed by Singapore Garden Festival as it returns this year from 25 July to 1 August 2008. Held at Suntec Convention Centre, the biennial event will showcase amazing gardens and floral displays designed and built by award winning designers from around the world. Visitors can also attend talks about gardening, nature photography as well as interesting demonstrations like building a bottled garden. Check out unusual and interesting orchids at the Singapore Orchid Show which is another anchor event at the Festival. Teach your children to count their carbon footprint at the Learning Garden. And be prepared to do so some shopping as goods from plants to gardening tools to shawls and home décor are sold at the marketplace.
